Local to global, start-up or established, Makynna has lent her talents to various tech companies across Austin before ending up at USAA. With a degree in Design & Interactive Media, she believes good design is something that doesn’t come out of a need for prettiness, but out of the necessity to give order. Her work is based on discussion, insight, and iterations. Like most designers, she’s opinionated, observant, genuine, and somewhat obsessive.

When she's not on the clock, Makynna enjoys the great outdoors, good food, cuddling her corgi and sipping wine with friends. A traveler at heart, she’s always planning her next adventure.
